
AJC Central Europe’s Political Outreach Officer Barnabas Turai visited Tallinn at the invitation of the Estonian Jewish Community to attend a conference celebrating the 105th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia, the 75th anniversary of the State of Israel, and the 35th anniversary of the rebirth of Jewish life in Estonia. Opening the conference, Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas pledged to combat antisemitism, and to preserve the country’s Jewish heritage. During his visit, Turai visited the Jewish Community Center, and met the Chief Rabbi of Estonia and other decision-makers.
