AJC Condemns Antisemitic Publications at the History Book Fair in Warsaw
On November 24-27, at Warsaw’s History Book Fair, at least two antisemitic books were offered to the public. For the first time in its thirty-year history, the Fair organizers were joined by the Institute of National Remembrance. Protesting the incident, AJC Central Europe issued a statement on November 28, which was quoted by two leading Polish media outlets: Gazeta Wyborcza and Onet.pl. Director of the Fair condemned promoting antisemitic books and declared that steps would be taken for such incidents not to happen again.
